Sebastian Thomas was born in Kerala and had his education in Kerala. He has a degree in Physics with First Class Distinction, from St.Thomas College Trichur. He relocated to Bhopal on joining a US based company Smith Kline & French in 1977.Later the company became Glaxo SmithKline. He had introduced genetically engineered antibiotics and vaccines which became blockbusters in the market. A metamorphosis from Physics to Diseases and medicines. He is a founding member of Airconnectivity and Development for Bhopal (ADB) and participates in many other social group. He is an avid reader of a wide spectrum of subjects ranging from self-development to psychology and science. He is also a member of the “Green Bhopal, Cool Bhopal” initiative by Commissioner, Bhopal.
